I followed the trail in the old man’s tale,
Into the forest of wisdom.
Eloise I found you now I can’t believe my eyes.
You are the one who could show me along.
I don’t know how but I know this.
Eloise it occurred to me I can’t believe my eyes.
I read it in bold language in the old volumes of myth and metaphysics.
Eloise I found out I can’t believe my eyes.
I went out in the world and saw it in the light
Of all these intuitive knowings.
Eloise there’s no doubt I can’t believe my eyes.
You’re right here in plain sight.
But if I think twice, I’m blind.
Please Eloise, – I’m all alone, -
Don’t leave me with these misgivings.
Eloise I’m afraid; I can’t believe my eyes.
Tell me who I am; tell me who I’m not.
Show me what is good and what is evil.
Eloise wait; I can’t believe my eyes.
You’re right here in plain sight.
But if I think twice, I’m blind.
