Next Friday {Aug. 5}, in a dramatic break from our lull-spell, we are to perform a set of music at The Family Wash in East Nashville in support of Mr. Kevin Gordon, a singular fellow and friend who I watched and listened-to with amazement when I first attended his show at the same venue over five years ago.  The Family Wash is a place where it is not uncommon to find ones-self in the midst of a dozen-or-so other music-lovers, beholding a world-class performance, – the room being sparsely peopled because many have bought tickets to see some lesser thing at a nearby concert hall.  Make no mistake; an up-front seat at a Kevin Gordon concert will soon be a prized commodity with the release of his anxiously-anticipated forthcoming album Gloryland.  I for one would not miss this rare opportunity, were I not scheduled to appear there my-self as well.  The show will begin some-time between 8 and 9 o’clock.  Let it be known that it holds the potential to be a highly-exclusive event.  ~ Hazelwood
